Abandoned truck – Stage Road, San Mateo County
Stage Road lopes over grassy hills a few miles in from the coast between San Gregorio and Pescadero in southwest San Mateo County. The steep and winding road is a favorite for cyclists and motorcyclists and lovely almost any time of the year. I may be wrong that this truck is abandoned, but it doesn’t seem to be going anywhere, either.
Dead Datsun – Healdsburg
My friends and I were walking from dinner back to where we were staying, when those in the front called out to me not to miss the truck, knowing it would appeal. I made several images on the spot, then returned to make more on my 6 a.m. walk the next day. This one–my favorite–comes from the second set.
